The mission of The Growing Stage is to nurture the development of the performing arts through education, and to create, produce, and perform works that engage the entire family.

For our 43rd Main Stage season, we proudly present the theme “Pure Imagination.” This resonated deeply with our opening production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and embodies the spirit that has driven our mission forward for decades. Imagination is the spark that ignited our passion when we embarked on this journey in 1981. It has been the bold force that empowered us to transform the Palace Theatre into a vibrant cultural hub and a guiding beacon of hope during the trials of the pandemic. Today, it continues to inspire and uplift our young students and family audiences.
