Join us as we welcome Conductor & Music Director Robert Butts, and The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey, as they perform a selection of pieces designed to introduce our young patrons to classical music. The acoustics of the muraled walls and antique tin ceiling of our home, The Historic Palace Theatre, truly sing when live music is presented.

The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey performs music of all periods and styles at affordable prices, while supporting young artists and audiences. The Orchestra performs in organized concert seasons and in special concerts in collaboration with artists and organizations throughout New Jersey.

Conductor and Music Director Robert Butts is the founder of The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey. He has led the Orchestra’s development from a Baroque ensemble to an orchestra that plays a wide variety of the classical and operatic musical repertoire from all periods.

At TGS, through our ongoing mission, we have established an incredible gift that continues to create lasting memories and unique experiences. We thank you for your continued support throughout that time.

PLUS, you helped plant the seeds, and our new chairs have blossomed. You’ll be the first to sit in our all-new audience chairs!

All proceeds will be dedicated towards the support of our artistic and educational programming. Donations are welcome any time and will always help support us!

See you on April 26th!

Thank You For Helping Keep The Growing Stage Mission Alive!

Our Mission—
To nurture the development of the performing arts through education — and to create, produce and perform works that engage the entire family.

Get Involved

You can help support the event by becoming a sponsor.

Generous corporate and community sponsorship and fund-raising events such as our annual Party at the Palace, enable us to maintain the affordability of our programs, a very important consideration for today’s theatre patrons. We truly believe that the powerful, positive influence of the arts in children’s lives helps them to grow into caring, intelligent adults who cherish the arts and have the skills to succeed.

All contributions to this event are tax-deductible, and each donor will be recognized in the TGS Wizard of Oz in Concert program. Thank you for your consideration and your contribution!

ALL ABOUT OUR

Events

Support for the Growing Stage comes in many forms. With that in mind, to truly engage our patrons and our community while upholding our mission, there’s nothing like a big event.

At our yearly event, you’ll experience signature auction items, delicious food and top notch entertainment. A party with The Children’s Theatre of NJ is not soon forgotten.

Our one-of-kind space within The Historic Palace Theatre is the backdrop for gathering, celebrating the arts and each other.
