We Have Much to Celebrate.

In addition to marking the 40th Anniversary of the Growing Stage, we also acknowledge the 25th Anniversary of our purchase of the Palace Theatre that we missed in 2020, as well as the best thing of all—seeing our young people and their families return to share the unique live theatre experience at The Growing Stage!

Together, through our ongoing mission, we have established an incredible gift that continues to create lasting memories and unique experiences. We thank you for your continued support throughout that time.

All proceeds will be dedicated towards the support of our artistic and educational programming, as well as for our continuing renovation of the theatre.

The event will feature live entertainment, food stations & desserts, beer, wine and soft drinks, an exciting live auction, silent auction and 50/50.

To nurture the development of the performing arts through education — and to create, produce and perform works that engage the entire family.



Support for the Growing Stage comes in many forms. With that in mind, to truly engage our patrons and our community while upholding our mission, there’s nothing like a big event. 

At our yearly event, you’ll experience signature auction items, delicious food and top notch entertainment. A party with The Children’s Theatre of NJ is not soon forgotten. 

Our one-of-kind space within The Historic Palace Theatre is the backdrop for gathering, celebrating the arts and each other.

Ticketing System

  • Main Stage Performances are normally Saturdays at 4:00PM and Sunday at 2:00PM. Friday performances are on a limited basis at 7:30pm.
  • Studio Series Performances: Thursday/Friday at 7:30PM, Saturday at 4:00PM and Sunday at 2:00PM.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Local Flavor Coupons and Groupons cannot be redeemed online.  You must call the Box Office to reserve and redeem. Box Office is open daily Monday thru Friday from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Please call at least 24 hours prior to redeem.
  • Seating begins 30 minutes prior to each performance. If you select Will Call as your ticket delivery method, your tickets will be available for pick up starting an hour prior to the performance.
  • Seating is general admission except for season ticket holders and groups of 10 or more.
  • Sales are final and no refunds will be given unless the performance is cancelled. If you are unable to attend, please contact the Box Office and we will do our best to accommodate you at a different performance based on availability.
  • Concessions will be available for sale before the performance and during intermission. Outside food and drink is not allowed.
  • Parking is available in the bank parking lot next to the theatre (when the bank is closed), the park lot behind the bank lot, and on the surrounding streets. If needed, overflow parking is available at the Methodist Church down the street.
