Due to the current rising numbers of COVID cases in our region and the uncertainty that remains in our immediate future, the Growing Stage is requiring all staff, counselors, and campers to be fully up to date with their COVID vaccinations.
Secondly, parents who wish to request an exemption for their child may register with the understanding that we require a daily Rapid COVID test on the morning of each camp day. If your family cannot obtain a test, The Growing Stage will assist in securing enough tests for the camp week.
Lastly, we realize the challenge this pandemic has put on ALL of us, but in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for the young people we have the privilege to serve, we believe this remains a necessary step to ensure a meaningful and rewarding experience for all participating this summer.
All about our
Summer Arts Day Camp
The Summer Arts Camp program provides a channel for a child’s natural gifts of imagination and role playing. First, through theater arts, children sharpen their creativity, improve their communication skills, gain self-confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork.
Secondly, children enjoy becoming a part of the magic that they can create.
Lastly, each of our sessions has a specific theme and concludes with a performance for friends and family.
We design our program to offer children an opportunity to explore the many aspects of theater arts through creative games, music, dance, art, and theater.

Parents who wish to request an exemption for their child may register with the understanding that a daily Rapid COVID Test must be performed the morning of each camp day. If your family cannot obtain a test, The Growing Stage will assist in securing enough tests for the camp week.
If a camper has a vaccination exception, the parent/guardian will be asked to show a photo of that morning’s negative rapid test during check-in. If a photo is not provided, the parent/guardian will need to administer a rapid test to their camper at that time and wait until the test is confirmed negative. We highly recommend testing at home in advance to make your check-in process quick and easy.
When filling out the registration form online, select NO when you reach the question “COVID-19 vaccines are required to attend camp: Will you provide a copy of your child’s vaccination records?” This will alert us that you are requesting an exemption and that you agree to a daily rapid test.
