The Growing Stage, The Children’s Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre in Netcong is proud to announce the appointment of Stephanie Kingsbury as the organization’s new Managing Director. Previously, Stephanie served as The Growing Stage’s Business Manager since 2019. Executive Director/Founder, Stephen Fredericks states, “Coming home to New Jersey in 2019 from the Pioneer Performing Arts Center in Reno, Nevada, Stephanie assumed the role of Business Manager and was quickly tossed a major challenge in the spring of 2020 with the onset of COVID, which she handled with diligence and commitment to the organization, our artists and our patron family. Stephanie has been a tremendous addition and instrumental in assisting the organization as we navigated the pandemic.”
Stephanie is no stranger to The Growing Stage, having begun her journey as an 11 year old performer on our stage. As a young person, Stephanie held several positions at The Growing Stage over the years including performer, camp counselor, and popcorn maker, all of which helped instill her lifelong love of theatre. From there she went on to receive the June V. Professionally, Stephanie has over 11 years of arts administrative experience working in performing arts centers throughout the country.
