Coming Home: Brady Rymer Talks From Good Homes & Giving Back

Ahead of a Special Benefit Concert for The Growing Stage

Brady Rymer is no stranger to the Historic Palace Theatre, having performed here numerous times with his high-energy, family-friendly band, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could. But next week, he returns in a different spotlight — reuniting with From Good Homes for a special benefit concert supporting The Growing Stage.

We sat down with Brady to talk about the upcoming show, what it means to return to the stage with his old band, and why this cause is close to his heart.

Hi Brady! Thank you for doing this interview. We’re so excited to see you next week with your other band, From Good Homes! Can you tell us how the band got started?

Brady: Hi Danny. Sure! A few of us were in a garage band together back in high school. Legend has it that during a big band rehearsal, Todd turned to my brother Scott and said, “Hey, let’s start a rock ‘n’ roll band — you can’t play KISS on a g’damn trumpet!”

What’s it like coming back to New Jersey?

Brady: It’s always a blast. Our original fanbase is there, and it makes it even more special to be reconnecting with the OG FGH homies. They’re the best.

You’re no stranger to The Growing Stage, having performed here multiple times with your Grammy-nominated band. What makes this theatre so special?

Brady: The room is magical. It has a sweet, positive energy — must be the murals on the walls! From the first note, the shows are always exhilarating, rockin’, and special.

Folks are really excited for this concert. What can they expect from the show?

Brady: It’s a more intimate venue than we’re used to — so who knows what to expect! 🙂 Lots of dancing, good energy, and smilin’. We’ll be pulling out some old tunes, taking fan requests, and raisin’ the roof.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Brady: Hope you can join us and support The Growing Stage — it’s so important to have this treasure of a theatre in the community. They do amazing work!

Thanks to Brady for joining us! 🎶
