The Stone Meadow Project Purpose
Founded in the midst of the global pandemic that touched every family in the communities we have the privilege to serve, The Stone Meadow Project is dedicated to providing complimentary tickets and scholarships for classes and summer camp to young people and families in need. This past season we gave 23 scholarships and provided 7 families with complimentary tickets. In addition, we used the Stone Meadow Fund to partially pay for 70 students from a school with a limited budget to attend a Main Stage Matinee performance.
Our Goal
For the past 43 seasons, The Growing Stage has strived to create a professional theatre that not only inspires, educates and entertains, but as importantly, one that is accessible to all families.
Through the generous support of one of long-time funding partners, The Growing Stage had the opportunity to provide complimentary tickets to families economically impacted by COVID-19.
How to Participate
- Parent/Guardian: Please call our Box Office at 973-347-4946 and say “Stone Meadow”. We do not request personal information other than a contact phone number.
- Place required reservations by phone. No online orders are available for this program.
- Tell us how many adult and child tickets you need as well as the date you would like to attend.
- Limited funding dictates availability. If you need to cancel your reservations for any reason, please do so 24 hours prior to curtain to allow another family with the same opportunity.
It’s as simple as that. The Growing Stage is committed to nurturing the development of the performing arts through education, and to create, produce, and perform works that engage the entire family. We hope that during this stressful time we can always provide some laughter and comfort that can be shared by your entire family as well.
